PRESS RELEASE: Board of Directors Approves Fall 2020 By-Election
Dear Students and SUS Members,
On behalf of the SUS Board of Directors, I am writing to inform you that on September 11th, the SUS Board voted to call a by-election for all vacant director positions. These include the positions of:
Vice President External;
Aboriginal Representative (to be renamed Indigenous Representative pending AGM special resolution);
Faculty of Access and Continuing Studies Representative;
Faculty of Applied and Technical Studies Representative; and
School of Graduate Studies Representative.
The Nomination period began on September 14th and will continue until September 24th. Digital copies of the nomination form may be found on the SUS website under “elections” (https://www.ufvsus.ca/elections.html#pane1-tab). Hard copies may also be requested at the SUS office (S1109). Voting will occur from October 19th to October 21st and results will be ratified on October 22nd and 23rd. Please contact the Chief Electoral Officer for more information at elections@ufvsus.ca.
