PRESS RELEASE: SUS Board Approves Annual General Meeting 2020
Dear Students and SUS Members,
On September 11th, the SUS Board of Directors approved the dates of October 20th and October 27th for holding the SUS AGM (the latter date of the 27th will be the date of the second AGM if SUS fails to hit quorum on the 20th) that was postponed in April 2020. Agenda items will include, but not be limited to: presentation of the 2019 audited financials, special resolutions pertaining to changes in the bylaws and the elections policy, presentations by the SUS Executives on their work over the summer, and an overview of 2020 and SUS’s plans for 2021. The AGM will be entirely virtual and hosted over the video conferencing service “Zoom”. An agenda will be published sometime next week, as well as more information on giveaways for attending.
