The Student Union Building (SUB) is the living room of campus, a welcoming place where students can relax, connect, and feel at home. Designed with comfort and community in mind, the SUB offers inviting spaces and a vibrant atmosphere that make it a central hub for student life, events, and everyday connection at UFV.

Beyond its spaces, the building brings together a wide range of essential student services and organizations, including CIVL Radio, the Indigenous Student Centre, The Cascade student newspaper, the Career Centre, the UFV Centre for Experiential and Career Education, and Assessment Services, making it a dynamic and accessible hub that supports students both academically and socially.

You can find us at the Abbotsford Campus (Building S), located next to the Athletic Centre near Parking Lot 10.

If you're a UFV employee, department, external organization, or part of a registered Student Club or Association, you can access bookable spaces within the SUB to host meetings and events.

Looking for a place to study or unwind? The SUB offers a variety of comfortable spaces, including couches, chairs, and tables throughout the building.

We offer locker rentals within the SUB for just $25 per semester, giving you a convenient and affordable way to store your belongings and make the most of your time on campus. Pair that with select athletic equipment rentals, and you’ve got everything you need to stay organized, active, and connected throughout the term.
