Q: Where do I pick up my U-Pass?
A: You can pick up your U-Pass at any time during normal office hours, at the SUS office in Abbotsford or Chilliwack.
Q: How do you start a Club or Association?
A: Forming a student club or association is easy! To register your group, you need to fill out a bit of paperwork-- which you can pick up in our offices, or grab from our download centre by using the link above. The Student Union Society requires that all student groups fill out a Registration Package, and submit it to either SUS office. Please have your package submitted the Monday prior to a Friday Board Meeting, so the Finance Committee can review it when they meet on Tuesday that week.
Q: How do I know if I’m covered under the Health and Dental Plan?
A:(1) As a full time student at UFV and as a member of the Student Union Society (SUS), you’re automatically covered by the SUS Health and Dental Plan. The automatic enrolment always takes place at the beginning of the Fall semester.
A:(2) You can also check your fee statement to see if you have been charged for the plan, it will appear as "SUS Health and Dental". Or, log on to your MYUFV to see your Account Summary by term and check there.
Q: Where do I get my Insurance Card if I’m on the Plan?
A: You can get your insurance card from both the Abbotsford and Chilliwack SUS Offices or can call and request one be mailed to you.
Q: Where can I get Claim Forms to submit my receipts?
A: You can obtain Claim Forms through either SUS Office, or you can log on to
www.ihaveaplan.ca Choose UFV and then choose Claim Forms under the download centre section.
Q: Where do I get my Student ID Card?
A: You can get your UFV Student ID Card at the Library, just ensure you have your Student ID number with you.
Q: Can I fax/photocopy here?
A: We do have fax/photocopy & limited printing service available for students. Remember, all SUS student groups have a $10 printing credit each semester. For general printing, the costs are as follows:
